Aging in place means staying in the comfort of your own home for as long as possible as you get older, rather than moving into a retirement or long-tem care facility.
While it may be hard to accept, most of us will require some type of care assistance after the age of 65. You may be used to handling everything yourself, dividing up duties with your spouse, or relying on family members for minor help around the home.

How Home Care ServicesHelps YouAge in Place
Canadian Health care Support provides a safe environment so that seniors can live at home for as long as possible.
Make sure you heal faster by getting temporary home support. Our care aides can help you with cooking, cleaning, transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, medication administration, and whatever else you need to speed up your healing process.
We hired Canadian Health Care support to help our elderly uncle continue to live in his own apartment following a sudden onset of significant short-term memory loss. Although he was in reasonably good physical health, he had become unable to properly care for himself due to the cognitive impairment. Neither of us lives in Victoria, and there were no other relatives nearby who could attend to his daily needs.
The Canadian Health Care support office team have been consistently helpful and professional in response. The caregivers who come regularly for a couple of hours a day (and more as required) to our uncle’s home is friendly, competent and caring. They do grocery shopping, meal preparation, house cleaning and oversee his personal care. In addition, they provide real companionship through playful conversation, drives and walks.
We feel very grateful to have found Canadian Health Care support at a point when we were unsure of how best to help our uncle when we do not live close to him. It is reassuring to know he is in such good hands, receiving the care, and company, he needs to maintain a good quality of life. We are pleased to offer this testimonial on behalf of the Canadian Health Care support team.
